With so much water around it's no wonder fishing takes up a large amount of everyone's spare time. Ian showing off his prized catch at the Pocket.

The closest thing to a pub, Hidden Valley Cabins. Situated 33km from the house everyone has made it a regular sunday after work event to go to the Valley for a hard earned drink.

New Year 2006

It was someone's great idea to jump in the pool just after midnight, everyone else just seemed to follow after that. Lucky it was fairly warm, otherwise we all would have been sicker than expected the next day!

Some days it's just not worth getting out of bed.

August 2005

This is one of the poddy calves whose mother died, so she got brought home and looked after. Sue named her Henny Penny and everyone had to take turns feeding her. At her age she was getting fed twice a day.

April 2006

Most people would see a flooded grid bridge and not try to drive a grader across, but everyones different. One excavator, another grader, and a couple of hours later it was all over with thankfully little damage done.
